Philippine Army holds reservist caravan at the Batasan Pambansa

CALOOCAN CITY, (PIA) --The Philippine Army recently held a reservist caravan and information drive aimed at encouraging lawmakers and their legislative staff to join the Army’s reserve force at the House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City.

Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Adonis R. Bajao and key officers from the Headquarters Philippine Army graced the reservist caravan that showcased information on how to join the Army’s reserve component.

The caravan featured celebrity reservist 1st Lt. Ronnie Liang who discussed the Philippine Army’s reserve force development thrust to House of Representatives legislative staff.

The Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs, Philippine Army; Philippine Army Major Units such as the Reserve Command, First Scout Ranger Regiment, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne), and the Civil-Military Operations Regiment; and UP Diliman’s ROTC unit also showcased their programs and thrusts on booths that were visited by lawmakers and their legislative staff.
