CALOOCAN CITY, (PIA) -- Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Rodolfo S Azurin Jr assures the public that all newly promoted officials are reminded of their commitment to the service as he formally inducted 29 Star Rank police officials during the recent Oathtaking and Donning of Ranks Ceremony of Newly Promoted Star Ranks Officers in Camp Crame Quezon City.
Azurin enjoined all the newly promoted senior officers to work closely together and be united to make the PNP truly worthy and deserving of people’s trust and respect.
“As public servants, we are expected to put national interest and the citizenry above our own personal considerations, to be transparent in our actions, accountable for our decisions, and responsive to the concerns of the community,” Azurin said.
Promoted to 3-star rank is Police Lieutenant General Rhoderick C Armamento — Director, Area Police Command, Southern Luzon.
Eight police brigadier generals promoted to 2-star ranks were Police Major General Jon A Arnaldo, Director, Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD), Police Major General Bernard M Banac, Director, Directorate for Plans (DPL), Police Major General Emmanuel B Peralta, Director, Directorate for Operations (DO), Police Major General Mario A Reyes, Director, Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR), Police Major General Jonnel C Estomo, Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), Police Major General Ritchie Medardo A Posadas, Director, National Police Training Institute (NPTI), Police Major General Eric E Noble, Director, Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), and Police Major General Edgardo Allan O Okubo, Director, Special Action Force (SAF).
