BUTUAN CITY -- The Philippine Information Agency through its program on Unified Messaging in Mindanao and the strong collaboration with the PIA Mindanao Cluster recently launched the MindanaONE Viber channel.

The MindanaONE viber channel is the second project of the PIA Unified Messaging in Mindanao. This is another digital platform to maximize the agency’s "#ExplainExplainExplain" banner program.

The said Viber channel is designed to deliver high quality, timely, relevant, and accurate information on projects and services of the government to the Filipino people especially to the grassroots in Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Caraga Region, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

The MindanaONE Viber channel opens the door for the country and the world to see the culture and beauty of Mindanao and BARMM and updates everyone on its political transition.

In the MindanaONE Viber channel, there is no information overload and traffic. Contents are limited to prime and the top news of the island properly reviewed by caliber editors of the PIA Mindanao Cluster.

It offers free membership using the QR code available in the facebook accounts of PIA Mindanao Cluster.

Meanwhile, the Unified Messaging in Mindanao released the third issue of its  MindanaONE electronic magazine featuring Siargao Island a year after its devastation from Super Typhoon Odette.
