PASIG CITY, (PIA) -- The City Government of Pasig expressed its support for a safe celebration and welcoming of the New Year.

The theme for this year’s campaign is “Sa Pag-Iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.”

On Thursday, the city government held a motorcade together with the Bureau of Fire Protection and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

The city government also urged residents to avoid the use of firecrackers to avoid injuries and fire and instead use alternatives for noise-making. (Pasig City/PIA-NCR)
