MANILA, (PIA) -- Deputy Majority Leader and Ang Probinsyano Partylist Representative Alfred Delos Santos shared some insights that Filipinos have many reasons for joyfully celebrating the Year of the Water Rabbit.

Delos Santos mainly referred to the gradual recovery of the Philippines from the COVID-19 pandemic, which gave Filipinos the opportunity to be traveling together again and no longer have to lock themselves inside their homes.

The solon said the current situation has allowed Filipino resilience to shine through, and have trained children how to make the best of even the worst situations.

Delos Santos said family resilience is built by finding flexibility to react to changing circumstances, leading to cooperation and closer family bonds. 

He added that he has seen families adapt by eating more together, rediscovering family-oriented hobbies, going on family walks and taking trips to local parks.  

That is why according to Delos Santos, promoting the family and Filipino family values in every community is a must in order for them to find success and happiness even if faced by challenges. (PIA-NCR)
