QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is set to join other representatives from the government, private sector, and development partners to discuss the Plan for social and economic transformation during the public forum “From Plan to Action: Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 Forum” on January 30, 2023 (Monday) at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.
"We have invited the President himself, and Cabinet Secretaries will share their action plans and adderss implementation issues. Representatives from local governments, the private sector, and civil society will join us," NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan said during last week event.
Panelists for Session 1 include Public Works Secretary Manuel Bonoan, Secretary Ivan John Uy of the Department of Information and Communications Technology, Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla, Trade & Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Tourism Secretary Christina Fresco, Mr. George Barcelon from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCCI), and Mr. Henry Aguda, Digital Infrastructure Lead, Private Secrtor Advisory Council.
For Session 2, the panelists comprise of the following: Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, Department of Health OIC-Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, OIC-Secretary Eduardo Punay of the Department of Social Welfare & Development, Governor Dakila Carlo Cua, President, Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP), and Fr. Francis Lucas, Government Board of Director, Federation of People’s Sustainable Development Cooperative.
The National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) is inviting the public to tune in via their Facebook and Youtube accounts to catch the livetream of the event.
