TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) successfully turned over the farm machinery equipment and farm inputs to the different agrarian reform beneficiaries organizations (ARBOs) in Surigao del Sur held at the North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) Gymnasium in Tandag City on February 2, 2023.
The distribution is an implementation of the DAR program to boost the capacity of the farmers and to bring government services closer to them as support to the President's goal to improve the lives of the Filipino farmers.
DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III was ably represented by USec Field Operations Office Atty. Kazel Celeste who led the distribution, together with some DAR officials from the national and regional offices , First District Congressman Romeo S. Momo, and Governor Alexander T. Pimentel.
Meanwhile, funded under Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support (CRFPS), Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP), the program increasess and sustain the agricultural productivity of farmers’ organizations, by providing them with farm machinery equipment, farm inputs, and livelihood activities that will uplift the lives of the beneficiaries in the different agrarian reform communities (ARCs) of the province.
