“Our aim is to make every mother and father and future parents ensure that their children will be raised properly in the first 1000 days or what we call “Batang Laking 1000”. Through this program, we hope to encourage communities to support and sustain every pregnant woman to ensure that she gives birth to a healthy child who grows in a loving and caring environment,” Dayanghirang said.

“We recognize how powerful and influential a television show is in our lives and in our learning. We hope this is one of the TV programs na tatatak sa lahat ng pamilya in this generation and generations to come,” she added.

The TV Program is a key component of NNC’s campaign on the First 1000 Days under the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) to improve nutrition in the country.
