QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- In celebration of Hearts Month and Civil Registration Month this February, the Pasay City Local City Registry Office (LCRO) is offering a free service for Pasayeños.
Obtaining a certified true copy (CTC) for birth, death and marriage certificates has been free starting Monday until Friday, Feb. 17, 2023.
Pasay City LCRO chief Romulo Tresvalles announced this during their regular flag ceremony at Pasay City Hall, and that this project was done through the initiative of Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano.
Those who want to obtain a CTC only need to go to the city hall and present a proper identification or authorization letter if they are not the ones named on the document in compliance with the provisions of Republic Act 10173 or the Data Privacy Act.
LCRO also released an accomplishment report on its accomplished programs, services, and projects last year.
Tresvalles revealed in his report to the mayor that the LCRO recorded in 2022 13,328 civil registry documents; issued 1,675 marriage licenses; 15,260 were recorded in the civil registry books; and 9,683 have their encoded data and other documentation for faster data verification and retrieval.
