QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- Around 130 motorcycle riders from different motorcycle groups joined the launching of the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) Membership Program held in a parade at Parañaque City on Sunday, February 19.
Through the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines under the Department of Tourism, the program aims to introduce and promote motorcycle tourism to motorists.
In a bid to encourage motorcycle riders to explore tourism destinations through group rides, the PMT membership program also seeks to promote safe and responsible riding by attending a safety seminar and identifying rider-friendly establishment to various stakeholders.
The parade started at the Parañaque Fisherman's Wharf to DFA Aseana and vice-versa.
