New 2-storey Ambulatory Care Unit Building for AFP personnel breaks ground in QC

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City – The Armed Forces of the Philippines, through its Health Service Command (AFPHSC), conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a two (2)-storey Ambulatory Care Unit Building today, February 28 at the AFPHSC, Camp Victoriano K. Luna, Quezon City.

Present during the event was DOH Assistant Secretary Dr. Leonita P. Gorgolon, representing Undersecretary Dr. Lilibeth C. David, and the AFP Chief of Staff, General Andres C Centino PA.

"This project would be another manifestation of the robust collaboration between the AFP and other agencies of government in uplifting the morale and welfare of our personnel and their dependents," expressed the CSAFP thanking the Department of Health for the progress of the project.

The CSAFP also commended the AFPHSC for sustaining excellent services and their steadfast commitment to care for AFP personnel's health and welfare, contributing to the nation's security and stability.

The said project, which aims to provide a more conducive facility for patients and medical personnel, is under the Health Facility Enhancement Program of the Department of Health under "The Philippine Health Agenda 2016-2022." (pao afp/pia-ncr)
