NCRPO recognizes outstanding women police personnel

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- In celebration of National Women’s Month, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) recognized outstanding women of the Metro Manila police force.

NCRPO chief Police Major General Edgar Alan Okubo recognized the women in NCRPO during its kick-off ceremonies at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City on Monday.

The event was graced by Police Brigadier General Yolanda G. Tanigue (Ret), Board of Director, APOLE, Chairperson, PRIMO as the guest of honor and speaker. Tanigue has been a well-known and top advocate of women’s rights and gender equality since her active service in the Philippine National Police.

In her message, Tanigue congratulated the awardees for their invaluable contribution, dedication, and commitment to the organization.

Everyone is affected by gender inequality, whether you are a man, woman, children, or family. If gender inequality is seized, it will make our community safer, healthier, and have better well-being. Equality is all about ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents,” she said.

The event highlighted the awarding of female personnel of NCRPO for their courage, ingenuity and dedication to duty. The awardees, who contributed much to the outstanding accomplishments and the milestones that brought NCRPO to greater heights are PCOL Jessiemyr N Protacio; PCOL Ruby Grace S Diangson; PCOL Jeanne B Panisan; PCOL Jenny DC Tecson; PTLCOL Donna N Villareal; PCPT Aibeth F Agramon; PEMS Lany V Magpantay; PCpl Chinee Joy T Encartado; PCpl Michelle F Manalo; PCpl Karen Jane D Tulabot; PCpl Anne Clarice Y Ignacio; Pat Catherine C Dacillo; Pat Johnnmeca N Biri; and Pat Venelyn S Manero.
