Over 400 completed TechVoc training

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Mandaluyong Manpower and Technical Vocational Training Center (MMTVTC) held a mass graduation to some 431 graduates of technical and vocational courses held at the Kaban ng Hiyas in Mandaluyong City.

Mandaluyong City Vice Mayor Carmencita Abalos and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) National Capital Region director Florencio Sunico, Jr. led the awarding of medals to graduates with exemplary performance.

The participants finished the following courses: Automotive Servicing, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Food Processing, Bread and Pastry Production, Housekeeping, Computer System Servicing, Ref and Aircon Servicing, Electronic Products Assembly and Processing, Dressmaking, Basic Computer Literacy, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Food and Beverage Services, and Events Management .

Vice Mayor Abalos and Director Sunico were joined by city councilors Charisse Marie Abalos-Vargas and Benjamin Abalos III, 4Ps Partylist Rep. JC Abalos, TESDA District Director of PaMaMariSan Leonardo E. Pinlac, and MMTVTC Administrator Ma. Majella Tampinco.  

The TESDA PaMaMariSan and MMTVTC have long been partners in providing livelihood and technical vocational skills training to residents of Mandaluyong and nearby cities. (Mandaluyong City/PIA-NCR)
