Malabon's surgical-medical & legal mission served over 450 residents

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) – The local government of Malabon successfully conducted on Saturday (March 11) its ‘Agarang Lunas, Aksyon Agad’ program which facilitated the provision of free surgical, medical, and legal services to some 450 residents.

The beneficiaries More were able to avail of free healthcare services for minor and major surgeries, derma consultation, laboratory screening for breast and cervical cancer, visual screening, medical check-up, to pharmaceutical needs.

Legal advice from licensed lawyers were also provided under the program.

The program was implemented by the City Health Department through the Ospital ng Malabon under the directive of Medical Director Dr. Jennifer Amolo Lim.

Meanwhile, the local government expressed gratitude to various organizations, public and private entities, and other concerned national government departments for aiding in the successful delivery of essential medical services to its constituents.

“Hindi matatawaran ang inyong kontribusyon sa ating misyon na mapabuti ang kalagayan ng bawat taga-Malabon sa pamamagitan ng paghahatid ng dekalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan (Your contribution in this collective mission of bettering the healthcare situation of each citizen in Malabon through the delivery of quality medical services cannot be equalled),” the local government said in a Facebook post.

The City Government of Malabon also thank the sponsors and donors of the program such as the Hospital on Wheels, Jose Reyes Medical Center (JRRMC), Philippine Cancer Society, Integrated Bar of the Philippines - CalMaNa Chapter, PolyHealth Diagnostic and Laboratory Inc., Rotary Club of Makati, Aberdeen Court, UST-Sigma Tau Delta, and Navotas Medical Society, to cite a few.
