QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has issued a clarification on the existing optional wearing of face masks.
In an MIAA advisory, it asserted that only the optional wearing of a face mask is enforced inside the airport
However, it remains mandatory inside the plane, it added.
The agency also said that it is mandatory to wear a facemask in transportation vehicles such as airport buses.
Meanwhile, MIAA clarified that they have enough staff during the upcoming Semana Santa with the expected influx of passengers at the airports.
The MIAA also assured that they will increase personnel at the airport to ensure that the process of traveling passengers will be fast. (PIA-NCR)
