PIA Chief recognizes role of PNA in delivering gov’t info to Filipinos

QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- Philippine Information Agency Director General Ramon Lee Cualoping III extends its congratulations to the Philippine News Agency (PNA) celebrating its 50th anniversary.

DG Cualoping recognizes the state news agency’s vital role in disseminating accurate, timely and relevant government information to the Filipino people.

“We in the PIA are very proud to be your partners in making sure that Filipinos are able to understand the policies, programs, the latest updates about our government,” DG Cualoping said.

The Philippine News Agency is the official news agency of the government under the supervision and control of the News and Information Bureau which is an attached agency of the Presidential Communications Operations Office. It is a web-based newswire service of the Philippine government founded on March 1, 1973. Currently, it is being headed by Executive Editor Demetrio B. Pisco Jr. (KSAA – PIA CPSD)
