PBBM, VP Sara maintain high approval, trust ratings

MANILA, (PIA) -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte have maintained their high trust and approval ratings, in the latest results of the Pulse Asia Survey.

Pres. Marcos got a 78 percent approval rating but it is 4 points lower than the previous survey, and an 80 percent trust rating which is 3 points lower compared to the November 2022 survey.

Meanwhile, Duterte's approval remained at 83 percent, but a 1-point drop from the previous survey, and maintained the obtained trust rating of 85 percent.

In the Pulse Asia survey, 5 percent disapproved of Marcos and 16 percent were undecided. While Duterte has 4 percent disapproved and 13 percent undecided,

Meanwhile, 5 percent have little trust in Marcos, 15 percent are undecided; 3 percent have little trust in Duterte and 12 percent are undecided.

Marcos' approval dropped by 12 points in Class ABC (65 percent), a drop of 8 points in Metro Manila (68 percent) and a drop of 7 points in the rest of Luzon (70 percent).

Duterte's approval rating dropped by 15 points in Class ABC (70 percent) and increased by 5 points in the Visayas (97 percent).

Marcos' trust rating in Class ABC decreased by 11 points (69 percent) and decreased by 8 points in MM (73 percent) and in the rest of Luzon decreased by 5 points (73 percent), while Duterte has a decrease in the trust of 6 points (76 percent) in Class ABC.

The survey was conducted from March 15-19, 2023 using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adult respondents. (PIA-NCR)
