MANILA, (PIA) -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has a new spokesperson.

PhilHealth's announcement came Wednesday when it said Dr. Israel Francis A. Pargas, who is the Senior Vice President of the Health Finance Policy Sector, is their new spokesperson.

"Please be informed that effective immediately, PhilHealth's new spokesperson is Dr. Israel Francis “Doc Ish” A. Pargas, Senior Vice President, Health Finance Policy Sector,” announced PhilHealth.

The appointment of Pargas was just one month after Dr. Albert Domingo as spokesperson of PhilHealth.

In this regard, PhilHealth said that Domingo will continue his role as PhilHealth Vice President for Primary Care and Head Executive Staff of the Chairman of the Board.

Meanwhile, Rey Baleña will remain Senior Manager of Corporate Communication and concurrently Vice President for Corporate Affairs. (PIA-NCR)
