In her message, Mayor Glaiza Polizon-Lanete expressed her utmost appreciation to the people in the community for their cooperation in the completion of the project.
“We, in the LGU-Tagbina, are very much proud to see that you implemented the project very successfully. This is something that we can brag, that here in Barangay Kahayagan, we are transparent in implementing the programs and projects of the national government and to show that we are united as one people working together towards development, through the KALAHI CIDSS processes and principles,” Mayor Lanete said.
Bennette Dave C. Calo, DSWD- KALAHI CIDSS Regional Program Coordinator, emphasized that with the additional funding the DSWD has taken another significant stride toward achieving the collective goal of inclusive and sustainable development. This achievement is attributed to the steadfast support of the local government unit and community volunteers.
The ceremonial turnover and ribbon cutting were led by Mayor Lanete and Calo, together with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, barangay council, area and municipal coordinating teams (ACT/MCT), and the community volunteers of Barangay Kahayagan.
