One-stop-shop process shortens business permits registration in Biliran

NAVAL, Biliran (PIA) – The Business-One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) has significantly reduced the processing time for renewing and obtaining new business permits  in the Province of Biliran.

BOSS has three steps to be followed in securing a business permit. Step one indicates the requirements, such as DTI/SEC/CDA registration, fire safety inspection certificate, sanitary permit, occupancy permit, and locational clearance, among others. Step two requires the payment and issuance of permits and clearances under step one. Finally, step three provides for the payment and issuance of the business permit.

During the Kapihan sa PIA Biliran, Faustino V. Gayas Jr., provincial director of the Department of Trade and Industry revealed that a business owner's permit can be processed within an hour, especially if all the requirements have been completed.
