Three linemen of Tablas Island Electric Cooperative (TIELCO) dubbed as the “Warriors of Light” are heading to Palawan to help in the power restoration effort in the franchise area of Palawan Electric Cooperative that was devastated by Super Typhoon Odette in December 2021.

They departed Romblon on December 29 to join the contingent of the Association of Southern Tagalog Electric Cooperatives (ASTEC).

The TIELCO contingent is composed of Democrito M. Capillo Jr., Raymon F. Macaranas and Arturo C. Guirindula Jr.

These linemen were among the previous TIELCO personnel that joined the Task Force Kapatid that was sent to Oriental Mindoro and Marinduque in the past years helping out in the restoration of typhoon damaged areas in these provinces. (PJF/PIA Mimaropa)
