This is Sitio Blanga, one of the most remote villages in Barangay Nalilidan in the coastal town of Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat. Residents here are Dulangan-Manobo indigenous peoples who for more than a decade have not experienced having electricity. Soon, at least 200 houses in this village will be lighted through Project TALA (TESDA Alay ay Liwanag at Asenso) in which trainees of the agency's photovoltaic system installation and maintenance will be provided PV kits to be installed in their respective houses and harvest solar energy.
