Senator Bong Go today, October 5, meets with some 500 individuals in crisis situation at the municial gymnasium in Glan, Sarangani and personally handed out to them some assistance as a way to augment their daily activities.

The beneficiaries are also part of the sector being assisted under the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD’s Distribution of Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situation, which is part of the agency’s protective services for individual belonging to the poor, marginalized, vulnerable, and disadvantaged sector.

Just like in the indigenous people’s day celebration, Go led in the fun activities of the beneficiaries that played volleyball and basketball. He also distributed cellphones to pregnant women, and also handed out four wheelchairs, and two crutches.
