President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. graces the advance celebration of the 121st Labor Day at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City
This year's theme of Labor Day: "Pabahay, Bilihing Abot-Presyo, Benepisyo ng Matatag na Trabaho Para sa Manggagawang Pilipino reflects the administration's holistic approach to uplift the lives of Filipino workers.
During the event, the President led the opening of over 12,000 jobs that will be up for grabs for Filipino workers at face-to-face job fairs in 42 job fair sites in different parts of the country from April 30 to May 5. He also witnessed the signing of linkages that aim to boost employment, economic activities, and human development in the country.
In his speech, the President assured workers that his administration is exerting all efforts to boost economy so that more investors will return and come to the country. He also placed an emphasis on the efforts to invigorate the country's agriculture and the strengthening of Philippine's ties with other countries to ensure that our OFWs are continuously being hired and taken care of.
President Marcos also vowed to protect all Filipino workers and that they will remain as the top priority of his administration.
