President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. warmly welcomes Her Excellency Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission at Kalayaan Hall in Malacañan Palace on Monday July 31, 2023.

President von der Leyen’s visit to the country aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the European Union (EU) and the Philippines.  The visit also intends to foster cooperation and collaboration in various sectors of mutual interests including trade, economy, development, maritime, climate and environment, space cooperation and digital connectivity, among others.
