QUEZON CITY -- In response to the psychospiritual needs of the PNP personnel especially during this time of the pandemic, the Philippine National Police through its Chaplain Service launched the e-GABAY program and signs a Memorandum of Understanding with major church bodies in the Philippines.
The said event was graced by PNP Chief Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar, Chief PNP, PNP Command Group, Police Brigadier General Jason Ortizo, Director of PNP Chaplain Service, Reverend Honesto Ongtiongo DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Cubao, Aleem Said Ahmad Basher, Chairman, Imam Council of the Philippines, Bishop Rodolfo Juan, Dean Protestant Chaplains, National Council of Churches in the Philippines, and Bishop Noel Pantoja, National Director of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches.
The e-Gabay is a platform for a helping relationship between Values Life Coaches and PNP Personnel. The e-Gabay posters with cell phone numbers will be posted in all quarantine facilities, PNP offices and all Police Stations nationwide as easy access for all PNP personnel who are in need of psychospiritual/therapeutic conversation and counseling as the need arises.
