PASAY CITY -- The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra stages its next series of online concerts billed as The PPO Spotlight: Virtual Pocket Performances to be streamed on July 9, 2021 at 8pm, Friday through the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Website.

Program for the July 9 concert, which focuses on the 70’s & 80’s Manila Sound, features the following pieces such as TL AKO SAYO by Snaffu Rigor to be played by Frenvee Andra (Bassoon); IKAW ANG MISS UNIVERSE by Hotdog to be performed by the PPO Viola Section; ANG BUHAY KO by ASIN to be interpreted by Dino Akira Decena (Violin) and Jascha Obieta Decena (Piano); KAPAG PUSO’Y SINUGATAN by WILLY CRUZ to be rendered by Adolfo Mendoza (Bassoon); and VST MEDLEY by VST & Co. to be performed by the Brass Quintet & Percussion Section.

The PPO Online Pocket Performance Series, which runs from February to July 2021, is a program of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra that can be viewed from the PPO FB page and the CCP YouTube as platforms. (CCP)
