Abstracts of research studies on CARP implementation from 1988 to 2012 now available online

QUEZON CITY -- The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has announced the availability of abstracts of completed DAR in-house and commissioned research studies on the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) implementation from 1988 to 2012 and can be viewed online on the DAR official website account link at https://www.dar.gov.ph/downloads/research-studies/abstracts-of-completed-dar-in-house-and-commissioned-research-studies .

DAR Policy and Research Service (PRS) Director Garland Leila A. Cuarteros said the abstracts can be used as resource materials by the general public or other interested DAR stakeholders needing basic documents and information on agrarian reform program implementation.

“The findings of these studies are envisioned to provide insights on the impact of agrarian reform program implementation in the Philippines, the emerging issues and concerns on the implementation of the CARP that need to be addressed by policymakers, program planners, and implementers,” Cuarteros said.

She stressed that the findings and recommendations of these studies were presented to various stakeholders through research findings dissemination attended by policy makers, program planners and implementers as well as civil society players such as people’s organizations and non-government organizations.

“For the full text of the research reports, interested parties may request for a physical copy to the Policy and Research Service pending the digitization of the said research materials,” she said. (DAR)
