QUEZON CITY -- Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Brother John Castriciones has inaugurated and officially opened the “BALAY ti MANNALON” for the walk-in clients and stakeholders, particularly the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Cagayan Valley.
“Our ARBs are the modern-day heroes today. Without them, there will be not enough food supply for the Filipino people, thus they need the support and proper accommodation where their grievances, issues and concerns can be heard,” Brother John said.
The DAR in this region assigned a place mainly to accept walk-in visitors of the office to personally attend to their needs.
According to DAR-Cagayan Valley Regional Director Samuel Solomero, the Balay ti Mannalon would serve as Isolation Center for walk-in clients who wish to transact in the office face-to-face. Clients would be entertained by the assigned employee or officer-of-the-day in this building.
The Isolation Center is an air-conditioned room with state-of-the-art facilities. It was the former Guest House which was renovated in time for Covid-19 pandemic. This building is dedicated to ARBs through the strong support of Brother John and the headship of Solomero.
