MANILA -- The Department of Health (DOH) and the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 - Response Cluster on Sunday, 26 July, welcomed another batch of delegates from Israel who shall be sharing their experiences and best practices on their COVID-19 Response Operations, especially on clinical management.
The Israeli clinical experts will be spending a five-day visit to the country, and the government has a series of activities lined up for the delegates so they can observe the country’s COVID-19 response. The experts will also be sharing their current local clinical guidelines for COVID-19, infection control protocols, hospital management, and other practices.
“The DOH is excited to hear from our Israeli delegates the learnings and experiences they have gained from their battle against COVID-19. We are looking forward to building upon our partnership, our efforts in one accord, for our mutual desire to save lives, and promote better health outcomes for Filipinos,” said Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III.
The Israeli delegates would also present their recommendations to improve the country’s clinical management of COVID-19 cases.
“This visit from the Israeli delegates is an opportune time to learn from the best practices of Israel on their clinical management of COVID-19 cases. Of course, we would also like to share some of our best practices when it comes to the clinical management of COVID-19 to our visitors. These exchanges are crucial if we want to beat COVID-19. We must remember that none of us is safe until all of us are safe,” said Undersecretary of Health and treatment czar Leopoldo Vega.
The national government deeply values forging and strengthening partnership with different countries and experts from around the world to further improve execution of the country’s COVID-19 response. (National Task Force Against COVID-19)
