QUEZON CITY -- Government workers may still submit entries to the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Online Photography Contest until 5 p.m. of 13 August 2021.
Each entry should adhere to the contest theme, Pagtugon ng Lingkod Bayani sa Patuloy na Hamon ng Pandemya, which aims to highlight images that show how the country’s civil servants or lingkod bayani faced the challenges of the pandemic.
Photo entries will be assessed on content and adherence to the theme, visual impact, creativity and originality, and photograph quality.
Contestants should submit their entries via email to the CSC Regional Office (ROs) to which they belong. For example, if the contestant is residing in Quezon Province, he or she should submit the entry to CSC Regional Office IV. Please refer to CSC Announcement No. 21, s. 2021 for the identified email addresses of each CSC RO.
The complete mechanics and guidelines may be accessed via www.csc.gov.ph/pcsa2021.
The contest, which is part of the 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, is open to all government workers regardless of employment status except employees of the CSC including their relatives up to second degree of affinity or consanguinity.
Regional and national winners will be awarded in a virtual recognition ceremony scheduled on 22 September 2021. Aside from receiving cash prizes, winners will have their work featured on the CSC website, www.csc.gov.ph, and official Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/ civilservicegovph. (CSC)
