QUEZON CITY -- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rolando Joselito D. Bautista led the blessing of the Department’s new service bus units for the use of Central Office personnel to lessen their transportation woes because of the COVID-19 health crisis.

This is part of the DSWD’s efforts to ensure the welfare of employees who are required to report to work amid the pandemic.

Aside from the new service buses, the Department will also provide overnight accommodation to Central Office employees during the enhanced community quarantine period in Metro Manila.

The Department will continue to guarantee the protection and welfare of its employees who are vital in the provision of social welfare services to the public. (DSWD)
