Under the MoA, the Cagayan government shall provide TESDA a total of Php 867,000 financial assistance for the latter’s skills training assistance and other programs for the province.

In his speech, TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapena expressed his gratitude to Mamba and said that the province is very lucky to have him as their governor.

“Maswerte po kayong mga taga-Cagayan dahil ang inyong Governor ang nangunguna sa mga developments na ito,” he said.

For his part, Mamba likewise thanked Lapena for TESDA’s assistance to the province by providing skills training programs to its residents.

“This partnership will go a long way. This partnership is not only limited to this, dahil nakita po natin ngayon, the Provincial Government of Cagayan is setting up skills training centers in the province in partnership with the TESDA,” he said.

Also present during the virtual ceremony were TESDA officials including Deputy Director General for Operations Lina Sarmiento, Deputy Director General for Partnerships and Linkages Aniceto “John” Bertiz III, Region II Director Archie Grande, Cagayan Provincial Director Romeo Talosig, and the department heads of the provincial government of Cagayan.
