Gov’t agencies urged to post vacancies for online job fair

QUEZON CITY -- Government agencies may still register for the Government Online Career Fair (GOCF) until 25 August 2021.

The online event is hosted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), in partnership with JobStreet.com, for the 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary in September.

Agency registration is through the JobStreet Philippines website at https://www.jobstreet.com.ph/ en/cms/employer/ cscregistration/.

Vacancies

Participating agencies are required to identify all urgent and/or critical or hard-to-fill positions requiring immediate hiring. The positions offered should comply with publication and posting requirements on or before the actual event, which is on 20-24 September 2021.

As of writing, the GOCF has gathered a total of 1,179 vacancies from 14 government agencies that have already registered.

Participating government agencies include the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, East Avenue Medical Center, Energy Regulation Commission, Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, Philippine National Oil Company, Philippine Orthopedic Center, Philippine Air Force, University of Southeastern Philippines, Alaminos City Water District (Region I), Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital (Zamboanga), local government unit of Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental; and Local Government of Julita, Leyte.

Participating government agencies are required to confirm their participation by completing their registration, submit the list of vacancies, accomplis their agency profile, and complete a chatbot training to operate the LiveChat function during the online event.
