"The Red Cross is unstoppable; despite the ongoing pandemic, as the premier humanitarian organization in the country, we will continue to be at the forefront of providing aid to the most vulnerable, especially during emergencies. But it doesn't end there, we will also continue with all our regular services as the need for blood never stops," said Chairman and CEO Senator Dick Gordon.

As of October 20, 2021, the PRC has sent out the following to La Union: 4,214 hot meals, 1,472 bottles of water, 641 pieces of clothing, 692 face masks, and 50 hygiene kits.
