“We are fortunate to have a government that prioritizes and supports the development of the poor and marginalized sector, a government that has a heart for farmers. Let us join hands in alleviating poverty and improve the quality of life for all,” Dilangalen said.
The project is being implemented under the DAR-Italian Assistance to Agrarian Reform Community Development Support Program (DAR-IARCDSP) of the DAR in partnership with the Italian Government and the LGUs.
DAR SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Director and concurrent IARCDSP national coordinator Marion Abella congratulated the recipients saying the project will bring in more income for the farmers as they will have sustainable water source for their farm produce, and now easily transport their products to the market thru the FMRs.
“The DAR-IARCSDP does not only provide infra projects to beneficiaries but also endeavors to create greater opportunities for the farmers to increase their productivity and income, leading their way towards a better quality of life for their families and the next generations,” Abella said.
During the turn-over ceremony local chief executives of the concerned LGUs and ARBOs representatives were present and gladly accepted the projects through the signing of turn-over documents.
