PRC deploys its Bakuna Bus to Calauan, Laguna

MANDALUYONG CITY -- The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) continues its COVID-19 operations through the deployment of the Bakuna Bus in Calauan, Laguna. PRC Lagna Chapter, together with the local government (LGU) unit of Calauan, Laguna aims to vaccinate 1,000 individuals belonging to the A3-A4 priority group on November 15, 2021.

PRC has 25 Baking Centers and a fleet of 16 Bakuna Bus, stationed in the different parts of the country to assist the local government unit in vaccinating the residents as soon as possible. PRC has now vaccinated 409,442 individuals since it began its vaccination program last March 2021.

“Mas lalo nating ipinagtitibay ang ating pagbabakuna. Sa ngayon ay bumabalik na tayo sa normal, ngunit hindi ito dapat maging rason upang ilower natin ang ating guard kontra COVID-19. Continuous testing and vaccination ay ang susi upang malabanan natin ang COVID-19,” PRC Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon said.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, PRC continues to provide humanitarian services to alleviate human suffering and uplift the dignity of the people. PRC Laguna Chapter in partnership with the Santa Rosa City Police Station, Santa Rosa Police Advisory council, Rotary Club of Santa Rosa, and City of Brave Matikas Eagles Club, also conducted a bloodletting activity at the Santa Rosa sports complex on November 14, 2021.
