BOC-Davao facilitates release of over 526K doses Pfizer vaccines

MANILA -- The Bureau of Customs – Port of Davao has expedited the release of 526,500 doses of Pfizer-Biontech COVID-19 vaccines which arrived at Davao International Airport via TRI-MG Airlines last December 26, 2021, Sunday, 1:10 PM.

The shipments were pre-cleared last December 24, 2021, via Port of Davao’s Customer Care Center and One-Stop-Shop. Upon arrival, said vaccines were immediately transported and underguarded to the DOH Cold Storage Room located at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).

As of date, the Bureau of Customs has facilitated the release of 201,121,670 doses of COVID 19 vaccines. 196,190,120 were released from Port of NAIA, 3,410,550 from Port of Cebu-Mactan International Airport and 1,521,000 from Port of Davao-Davao International Airport.

The BOC Davao under the leadership of District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria, commits to expeditiously clear and release all inward DOH COVID-19 Vaccines in full support of the Philippine Government’s national program to fight the adverse effects brought about by the pandemic. (BOC)
