PRC Bakuna Bus administers more than 4K doses in Odette-battered Cebu

MANDALUYONG CITY -- Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon continues to deploy Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Bakuna Buses in Cebu in the midst of Typhoon Odette rehabilitation operations.

While PRC volunteers and staff continue to work around the clock to serve Filipinos adversely affected by the typhoon, Gordon reiterates, "Regardless of any challenges we face, we will always find a way to continue to strengthen our operations, not just for Odette but also for COVID-19."

According to the PRC Cebu Chapter, the team has administered a total of 4,234 doses of vaccines for 3,494 adult and 740 pediatric clients.

"With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases and the threat of the new Omicron variant, we continue to boost our response to help the country battle the COVID-19 pandemic," said Gordon.

Meanwhile, the PRC Cebu Molecular Laboratory also immediately resumed its operations last January 5, 2022. (Philippine Red Cross)
