Red Cross continues sending hot meals in Malabon

MANDALUYONG CITY -- The Philippine Red Cross(PRC) continues to send hope to those affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Last February 11, 2022, volunteers from PRC Malabon Chapter provided 200 hot meals to COVID-19 affected individuals at Barangay Panghulo.

"Ang aming layunin ay magbigay ng pag asa sa mga nangangailangan lalo na ngayong pandemya. Anuman ang mangyari, patuloy lang ang pagserbisyo ng Red Cross volunteers at staff upang mas marami pang matulungan na mga Pilipino sa iba't ibang sulok ng Pilipinas," reiterates Senator Dick Gordon.

The PRC Malabon Chapter has now provided 600 meals since launching its Community Feeding program this month targeting seniors and children around Malabon.

Last February 2, 2022, the PRC served 150 beneficiaries in Katarungan St. Brgy. Muzon while on February 3, 2022, PRC volunteers provided meals to another 150 beneficiaries in N. Vicencio St. Brgy. Niugan. Community feeding was also conducted last February 8, 2022, at Barangay Hall Potrero serving 300 beneficiaries. (Philippine Red Cross)
