Apart from Metro Manila, the PRC also deployed its Hot Meals on Wheels food trucks in Sitio Ulingan Binuwangan, Bagac Bataan to serve food to 200 individuals.

"Patuloy na aming dinedeploy ang mga food trucks na ito upang mabigyang lunas ang kagutuman na nangyayari sa ating bansa," reiterates PRC Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon.

According to the PRC Welfare Services, they are targeting to deploy their food trucks to more areas around Metro Manila to intensify their program to serve more troubled communities hit by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The PRC has 29 Hot Meals on Wheels food trucks equipped with kitchens that can prepare 100 meals per hour or 800 meals on an 8-hour operation. (Philippine Red Cross)
