Philippine Red Cross reminds residents to continue to be vigilant amidst Taal volcano threat

MANDALUYONG CITY -- Philippine Red Cross (PRC) staff members at the national headquarters and in Batangas continue to monitor the situation as PHIVOLCS has maintained Alert Level 3 around Taal Volcano.

“Kaisa ang Red Cross ng probinsya ng Batangas sa pagmamanman sa Taal. Patuloy kaming tutulong sa inyong pangangailangan,” the PRC Chairman and CEO Senator Dick Gordon, said.

The PHIVOLCS recorded 36 volcanic earthquakes in Taal Volcano in the last 24 hours up to 5:00 am on April 2, 2022.
