QUEZON CITY -- The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) – Museo ni Manuel Quezon will conduct a webinar titled Pulitika at Monumento: Ugnayang Quezon at mga Taguigueno on 3 June 2022 at 2:00 p.m. via FB Page live. Resource speaker for this online lecture will be Mr. Jomar Gelvoleo Encila, Historical Research Consultant of Think Big Taguig, Office of the City Government of Taguig.
The webinar will discuss the first monument for former President Manuel L. Quezon, which was built in Sta. Ana, Taguig in 1937. It was constructed while President Quezon was still the President of the Commonwealth. It will also discuss the Manuel L. Quezon Avenue located in Bagumbayan, Taguig.
The link between the former political leaders of Taguig during the term of President Quezon and the significance of structures built in this era will be featured.
