TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- In line with the intensified campaign against illegal drugs, the Tandag Component City Police Station (TCCPS) operatives scored another successful drug operation through the implementation of the search warrant in Purok Quintos, Barangay Mabua, Tandag City on September 1.
Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office Chief Police Colonel Dennis A. Siruno, disclosed the newly identified pusher as street level individual as Joebert Raz Suarez a.k.a “Jojo”, male, 42 years old, with live-in partner, self-employed, resident of the aforesaid place.
The official assured that the PNP will continue to intensify the campaign and run after those who are involved in illegal drugs within the province of Surigao del Sur.
“I assure the Surigaonons that we will continue to intensify our campaign against illegal drugs. We will sustain this momentum on pursuing those involved in the illegal drugs and put them behind bars,” PCOL Siruno affirmed.
Based on the report, personnel of TCCPS were able to seize the following:
- one piece of an improvised needle; one rolled aluminum foil;
- one violet belt bag; one unit .45 caliber pistol COLT MES CO HARTFORD. CT USA with serial number 127912;
- one piece Magazine inserted in .45 caliber pistol COLT MES CO HARTFORD. CT USA with serial number 127912;
- seven pieces of live ammunition loaded in the magazine of the said firearm;
- one orange disposable lighter;
- two pieces of crumpled aluminum foil;
- one piece aluminum peppermint candy box;
- nine (9) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing the white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated weight of 5 grams and Estimated Street Value of Php34,000.00;
- three pieces of folded aluminum foil; and
- one piece of improvised totter.
Further, cases for violation of RA 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591 the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) are being prepared against the suspect. (Photo credit to SDS-PPO/PIA-Surigao del Sur)
