TACLOBAN CITY -- An access road leading to a permanent resettlement site in this city was recently completed with funding from the local government unit.

The completed two-lane road will now benefit residents in the area and provide easy access to the Operation Blessing Housing Project in Brgy. 103 Palanog, which was previously accessible only on a dirty road.

According to the City Engineer's Office, the road project had a contract price of more than P5 million and was funded from the Annual Investment Program of LGU Tacloban.

Construction of the 507-meter road started on March 11, 2022, and was completed on July 23, 2022.

Before the road was opened to the public, Mayor Alfred Romualdez personally inspected the completed project. (MMP/TCIO)
