BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur -- The Local Government Unit of Bislig City under the leadership of Mayor Florencio C. Garay, through the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO) and the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee, joined in the 122nd Civil Service Commission (CSC) Anniversary celebration through its rewards and recognition program dubbed as "Pagkilaa: LGU-Bislig City Kahinangan Awards" held at the Bislig City Cultural and Sports Center, recently.
Two hundred thirty-two permanent, coterminous, and retirees who have rendered 10-43 years of service to the city government were able to receive plaques and cash, depending on their years of employment, as part of their incentives.
The LGU-Bislig City paid homage to the officials and employees who passed away through an audio-visual presentation for their noteworthy contributions to the local government. Moreover, respective families of the deceased public servants were also present to receive the plaque of loyalty award.
The sole civil servant for this year who garnered 43 years of experience in the LGU is Ms. Nena P. Dua, Assistant Registration Officer II of the City Civil Registry Office (retiree).
The LGU-Bislig Kahinangan Awards is a loyalty service award granted to all officials and employees to recognize their continuous and satisfactory service in the government for a period of ten (10) years and above. This aligns with the CSC Memorandum Circular No. 01, s. 2001, mandating every agency to establish employee suggestions and incentive awards system. (CIO-Bislig/PIA-Surigao del Sur)
