HINATUAN, Surigao del Sur -- The Local Government Unit of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur headed by Mayor Shem Garay recently revealed the winners of Most HApsay, LIMpyo ug HIMsog (HaLimHim) Barangay and Schools in the municipality.
The Awarding Ceremony highlighted the 2022 Sigahay Ganahay Festival of the municipality.
The winners accordingly were judged based on the implementation of the Eco-Solid Waste Management (ESWM), Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and the Health and Sanitation and Greening Programs.
The competition proclaimed the following winners in the six categories:

Third Place: Barangay Portlamon

Second Place: Barangay Sasa
Third Place: Barangay Harip

Second Place: Portlamon National High School
Third Place: Hinatuan National Comprehensive High School

Second Place: Tagasaka Elementary School

The annual competition is an initiative of the LGU-Hinatuan under the dynamic leadership of Mayor Titing Galano Garay, with the support of the legislators headed by Vice Mayor Atty. Tito Canedo III and the Sangguniang Bayan Members to ensure that barangays and schools are implementing the significant services on the promotion of crucial programs on environmental, health and disaster resilience initiatives.
