PALO, Leyte – The Regional Development Council VIII – Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RDC VIII-RPMC) reoriented and trained 67 technical staff from regional line agencies (RLAs) and state universities and colleges (SUCs) on the Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) and the use of the Eastern Visayas Project Monitoring System (EV-PMS) on 24 January 2023.
During the activity, technical staff from RLAs and SUCs were reintroduced to the RPMES and its various forms. Likewise, the participants were trained on the use of the EV-PMS (www.evpms.ph), a web-based monitoring system that facilitates the submission of quarterly RPMES reports, and were given time to encode their respective organizations’ projects and accomplishments into the EV-PMS.
An experience-sharing session followed, wherein the participants raised their clarifications, problems encountered, and suggestions to improve the features of the EV-PMS.
The EV-PMS was launched on 23 February 2022 and its first training was conducted virtually on 2 March 2022 with 118 participants.
All trainings were facilitated by the NEDA VIII-Project Monitoring and Evaluation Division (PMED). (Josefina Ballesteros/Photo: Mark G. Lomboy, PMED)
