PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – With the intensified efforts of the local police forces of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (ADSPPO) headed by Police Colonel Jovito Canlapan, Provincial Director, the unit has yielded to a total of 36 overall accomplishments to include the voluntary surrendered firearms in a weeklong intensified police operations covering the period from February 27 to March 5, 2023.
Data submitted by 14 Police stations and two Provincial Mobile Force Companies disclosed that there were four persons arrested for illegal drugs; one on illegal gambling, 12 Wanted Persons (three Most Wanted Person and nine Other Wanted Person), two on illegal logging, and four on illegal fishing.
PCol. Canlapan, congratulated the PNP personnel for a job well done. “The dedication of everyone paved the way in achieving a successful police operation,” he said.
All arrested persons have been placed under police custody while charges against them are being prepared for filing in court.
