NHCP to hold history and heritage training for Mindanao, BARMM LGUs in Marawi City

MARAWI CITY -– The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), as part of its commitment to help and capacitate its local partners in conducting history and heritage work, will hold its third LGU Training on History and Heritage for 2023 for Mindanao and BARMM LGUs. In partnership with the Mindanao State University – Main Campus and the Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH), the training will equip LGU workers with essential skills and knowledge to conduct basic historical research, commemorations, conservation, and documentation. The program will be a three-day workshop from 17-19 October 2023 at the MSU Main Campus, Marawi City.

Priority will be given to LGU Workers and Local Partners from the Bangsamoro Region on a First Come, First Served basis.  
 
The NHCP is the principal government agency mandated with promoting Philippine history and protecting our cultural heritage. (NHCP)
